in manchen Dingen hast du recht

Supreme Leader Warns Enemies against Military Action

TEHRAN (FNA)- Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei warned the US and Israel against military action against Iran, and said enemies' threats to Iran indicate that they are deeply fearful of the country's power.

Addressing tens of thousands of people who had gathered at Imam Khomeini's mausoleum to mark the 23rd anniversary of the demise of the Late founder of the Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Khamenei said that the Zionist regime's military threats against Iran are due to its fear and frustration.
...
Ayatollah Khamenei said that the collapse of certain allies of America in Europe and the increasing hatred of nations towards America show that there is a serious crisis in the West.

He reiterated that America is trying to divert attention towards Asia, Africa and the Middle East region by creating conflicts.

"Today the Americans have turned to the experience and expertise of the British in creating religious and ethnic conflicts. For this reason, all nations, all religious scholars and all academic elites in the region - both Shiite and Sunni - should take care not to contribute to the enemy's plots."

The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution described the actions of the West and the Americans as dim-witted and stressed, "In order to cover up their problems and divert attention from the crisis they are involved in, they magnify the nuclear issue of Iran and put it at the top of global issues and they deceitfully speak about nuclear weapons."

Ayatollah Khamenei said that the efforts by the West and America will not produce any results.

His Eminence said that the enemies of the Islamic Revolution are afraid of the Iranian nation because it has made progress and turned into a role model for the nations of the region and the world.

Zitat:Iran expects to equip Gulf ships with missiles soon
June 29, 2012 - 7:59 am EDT

DUBAI (Reuters) - Iran expects to equip its ships in the Strait of Hormuz soon with shorter-range missiles, a Revolutionary Guards commander was quoted as saying, in the latest apparent warning to the West not to attack it over its disputed nuclear program.
...
"We have already equipped our vessels with missiles with a range of 220 km (136 miles) and we hope to introduce missiles with a range of over 300 km (186 miles) soon," Ali Fadavi said, the semi-official Mehr news agency reported on Friday.

"We could target from our shores all areas in the Persian Gulf region, the Strait of Hormuz and the Sea of Oman."

Iran is about 225 km (140 miles) at its nearest point from Bahrain, where the U.S. Fifth Fleet is based, and about 1,000 km (625 miles) from its arch-enemy Israel. Tehran's longest-range missile, the Sajjil-2, can fly up to 2,400 km (1,500 miles).
...
In January, the Islamic Republic said it had successfully test-fired what it called two long-range missiles.

Mit Inkrafttreten des EU Embargos zum 1. Juli gegen iranische Rohöl-Exporte ist wieder Säbelrasseln angesagt.

Laut Marine Forum:

Zitat:Iran may take legal action against sanctions at UN court

TEHRAN, July 4 (MNA) - Iran may take legal action at the International Court of Justice (The Hague) against U.S.-led sanctions, the president of Iran’s Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture said on Tuesday.

Mohammad Nahavandian said during the recent session of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), some ICC’s members criticized the unilateral sanctions of United States and the European Union against Iran.

“The members asserted that the unilateral sanctions are in contradiction to the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce and also against the international free trade frameworks,” Nahavandian added.

Zitat:Obama ordered cyber attack on Iran: NY Times

A cyber attack against Iran's nuclear program was the work of U.S. and Israeli experts and proceeded under the secret orders of President Barack Obama, say current and former U.S. officials

The origins of the cyber weapon have long been debated, with most experts concluding that the United States and Israel probably collaborated. The current and former U.S. officials confirmed that long-standing suspicion Friday, after a New York Times report.

The officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity to describe the classified effort code-named Olympic Games, said it was first developed during the George W. Bush administration and was geared toward damaging Iran's nuclear capability gradually while sowing confusion among Iranian scientists about the cause of mishaps at a nuclear plant.

Zitat:Commander: IRGC Will Destroy 35 US Bases in Region if Attacked

TEHRAN (FNA)- Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Aerospace Force Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh said that the IRGC has detailed contingency plans to hit 35 US bases in the region in the early minutes of a possible conflict.

"We have thought of measures to set up bases and deploy missiles to destroy all these bases in the early minutes after an attack," Hajizadeh said on Wednesday, referring to Iran's contingency plans for any potential confrontation with the US.

He said that the US has 35 bases around Iran, and stated, "All these bases are within the reach of our missiles. Meantime, the occupied (Palestinian) lands (Israel) are good targets for us as well."

The commander explained that the current IRGC missile wargames is a practice of targeting a single hypothetical enemy airbase which is a replica of the US bases in the region.

Zitat:Iranian Mines, Missiles Can Easily Shut Hormuz

TEHRAN (FNA)- As Iranian lawmakers are preparing a bill requiring the government to close the Strait of Hormuz, some in the West are asking how Tehran can do so, except for drowning an oil tanker in the midst of the waterway which is the easiest way of cutting the world oil lifeline for months.

In addition to its short, mid, and long missiles, Tehran has a range of other weapons it can use to close down the vital oil artery.

These include the hard-to-detect "rocket mine" that's triggered by the distinctive magnetic our acoustic signature of a ship, such as a US aircraft carrier, and then launches a propelled 600-pound warhead at the target. Then there's the Russian MDM6, equally difficult to detect, that can tackle multiple targets. It lies on the seabed that fires a torpedo-like warhead when it senses a vessel. Both these mines can be laid by Iran's Kilo-class submarines.

As the United States builds up its forces in the Persian Gulf, including the recent arrival of four new mines countermeasures ships to boost US-British minesweeping strength to 12, the New York Times quoted a senior Defense Department official as saying: "The message to Iran is, 'Don't even think about it'. Don't even think about closing the strait. We'll clear the mines.
...
By some accounts, Iran is believed to have as many as 3,000 sea mines. Some estimates go as high as 5,000, but no one knows the exact number as Iran never discloses all its capabilities and arsenals.

Abschussvorbereitungen bleiben unerkannt,
