Eine gewaltige Koaltion. 0 - "Zero" - Effekt auf die Kampfkraft von ISIS. Lediglich die Gas/Öl-Infrastruktur in Syrien hat man zu Klump geschosssen. Man hätte natürlich alternativ auch die gut sichtbaren Tanklastenwagen der ISIS zerstören können. Das hätten türkische Behörden noch viel einfacher gleich an der Grenze tun können, statt die Einfuhr zu genehmigen. Syrien wird dafür jedoch seit einiger Zeit mit BGM-71E (TOW 2A) regelrecht überschwemmt. Relativ großer Effekt. Komisch, komisch...
Resultate bei der Bekämpfung von ISIS Führungskadern kann dagegen jemand vorweisen, den man vielleicht nicht gleich auf der Rechnung hat:

What happened in Jaref al-Sakher was a historical achievement for the men of the Popular Mobilization group that consists of multiple military factions, which had previously fought the US occupation. They include: Hezbollah Brigades, League of the Righteous, the Badr Organization, and Saraya al-Salam (of the Sadrist movement), in addition to other factions. General Qassem Soleimani, commander of the Qods Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, was the undisputed “hero” of the battle.

For the Americans, “the Jaref al-Sakher problem was difficult to resolve militarily, given its terrain covered by old palm trees, and the presence of a large ISIS force there.”

Jaref al-Sakher has an area of approx. 25 km by 4 km. The assault began from three axes, with the area being showered by gunfire to soften the targets for nearly half an hour. The attacking force then advanced from three directions: from the village of Fadiliyah, to isolate the region from Amiriyat al-Fallujah in the north, with the advance from this axis being led by the League of the Righteous. From the south, the Hezbollah Brigades advanced directly from the village of al-Bahbahan. From the center, the remainder of the force advanced to take a number of villages controlled by ISIS including Abed Ways and al-Farisiyah.
The battle began. Close range and even face-to-face combat ensued with ISIS. The fighters of the Popular Mobilization saw firsthand how ISIS fighters could be killed, and how those who survived struggled to flee the area. In the beginning, ISIS terrorists defended their lines using snipers and explosive devices they had planted in large quantities between the palm trees. The line collapsed however, after the concentrated attack by the fighters of the Iraqi factions (who incidentally are not very well trained, but are indeed well organized and followed a tight plan).
Within hours, the attacking force entered the last areas controlled by ISIS, whose fighters were surprised to see they were surrounded and their supply lines cut off. All ISIS’s attempts to hold its ground were futile. In less than 48 hours, the area, which the US and Iraqi armies could not retake throughout the better part of a decade, was liberated.

Es gibt Berichte und grausame Bilder aus Ägypten (Sinai) das dort die ISIS einen Ägyptischen Militärkonvoi angegriffen hat und auch vernichtete. Es scheint als gerate es mehr und mehr außer Kontrolle. Zumal diese modernen Waffen auch eine Bedrohung für so ziemlich jeden da unten sind.
Der Sinai ist ohnehin jeder Kontrolle entglitten und was dort geschieht spottet jeder Beschreibung und damit meine ich nicht die IS Gruppen welche dort agieren.

Es ist in Europa beispielsweise so gut wie unbekannt, dass auf dem Sinai ein Hauptgeschäft inzwischen das entführen von Flüchtlingen ist welche systematisch gefoltert werden um damit von Angehörigen daheim Geld zu erpressen. Und da die Flüchtlinge den Sinai inzwischen zunehmend meiden und das ganze ein Geschäft ist, dass nur durch Masse funktioniert, ist man sogar schon dazu übergegangen Kopten oder Personen aus den Armenvierteln der Städte Ägyptens zu entführen um sie systematisch zu foltern.

Die erpressten Gelder werden wiederum primär in Aufrüstung gesteckt wobei hier korrupte ägyptische Offiziere die Waffen ihrer Truppe in den Untergrund verkaufen. Die ägyptische Armee ist in weiten Teilen inzwischen extrem korrumpiert und völlig unfähig. Das gleiche gilt für die Polizei und andere Sicherheitskräfte welche mit der Organisierten Kriminalität der Beduinenstämme und den Islamisten Hand in Hand zusammen arbeiten obwohl sie sich alle gegenseitig offiziell bekämpfen (und dies teilweise auch real paralell zu den Geschäften die sie miteinander machen tun). Das führt dazu, dass Flüchtlinge und Entführte von der Polizei an die OK ausgeliefert werden oder diese für die Islamisten entflohene Gefangene wieder einfängt und diesen erneut ausliefert etc

Das ganze spottet einfach jeder Beschreibung und destabilisiert über kurz oder lang ganz Ägypten und könnte sogar im Laufe der Zeit dazu führen, dass Ägypten der nächste Failed State in der Region wird.
Ein so clevere Organisatin wie der IS wird das natürlich genau so wissen und für sich zu nutzen verstehen.

Nicht nur das, man kann denn - wenn die Liste denn stimmen sollte - erkennen, dass quasi fast das gesamte Equipment der Islamisten durch die Bank aus ehem. sowjetischen oder Ostblock-Beständen stammt, von einigen wenigen in Irak erbeuteten leichten US-Fahrzeugen und Launchern westlicher Fabrikation abgesehen. Die Liste "beißt" sich insofern doch auch recht deutlich mit den schwer verifizierbaren Behauptungen - die ja übrigens auch gerne hier im Forum geäußert werden -, wonach die Fundamentalisten vorzugsweise mit westlicher Technik im Rahmen einer umfangreichen Verschwörung des Westens oder der Israelis hochgerüstet [worden] seien.
Was an dieser Stelle ein wenig zu kurz kommt, ist indessen, dass man Effektivität nicht nur alleine an der reinen Schlagkraft auf dem Papier festmachen darf, sondern eher an der Logistik, und diese fällt bei solchen Listen quasi unter den Tisch (man könnte hier nun auf die Rolle der Türkei verweisen und ihre fragwürdigen grenznahen Aktivitäten zu Syrien bzw. bezüglich der dortigen Islamisten). Kurzum: Entscheidend alleine sind nicht nur Statistiken von Panzern und Werfern, sondern Munition, Treibstoff, Aufklärung und Versorgungsfahrzeuge bzw. -basen und -wege sowie Rückzugsräume. Und hier wiederum könnte man die Rolle des Auslandes sehr wohl hinterfragen, besonders seien die Türkei, Saudi-Arabien und mancher Golfanrainer genannt.

In Zukunft sollen Tanklastzüge, die aus den Gebieten der Dschihadisten in die Nachbarländer fahren, konfisziert werden. Aber der schwerste Schlag für das islamistische Öl-Business ist die verlorene Schlacht um Beidschi.
Zähe Kurden halten Kobani immer noch
Die 60.000-Einwohner-Stadt ist die größte irakische Ortschaft, die bisher aus der Hand von IS zurückerobert werden konnte. Doch vor allem befindet sich dort auch die wichtigste Öl-Raffinerie des Irak. Hätten al-Bagdadis Leute sie erobert, wären sie endgültig zu echten Playern auf dem Rohstoffmarkt geworden. Nun müssen sie weiter verunreinigte Rohware über dunkle Kanäle verhökern.
Nicht weniger unter Druck stehen die Islamisten in der nordirakischen autonomen Region Kurdistan. Dort haben sie bereits mehrere Orte verloren. Seit letzter Woche läuft eine neue Großoffensive der kurdischen Peschmerga-Truppen um Sadia und Kirkuk.
Und Kobani? Tausende Kämpfer schickte IS in den Kampf um die syrisch-kurdische Stadt an der Grenze zur Türkei. Atemlos erwartete die Welt ihren Fall. Aber das ist Wochen her.
"Jetzt sind sie auf dem Rückzug", versichert Ismet Scheich Hassan, der selbst ernannte Verteidigungsminister der autonomen Region Kobani. "Sie hatten fast die Hälfte der Stadt, heute dürften es noch zehn bis zwanzig Prozent sein." Bald werde man IS ganz aus dem Stadtgebiet vertrieben haben. "Ihre Moral ist am Boden, weil sie ständig ins offene Messer laufen." Die Extremisten seien eine ständige Zielscheibe der amerikanischen Kampfflugzeuge.

... Im Irak sind schiitische Milizen an der Front, die vom Iran ausgebildet wurden. Die Peschmerga haben Waffen aus Deutschland und anderen westlichen Ländern erhalten, die sie auch auf der Planungsebene unterstützen. Und dann sind da noch die Bombenangriffe der Koalition, die fatale Auswirkungen für Bagdadis Heerscharen haben.
