Naja offenkundig kann man sehen das die Türkei sich andere Partner sucht als nur USA oder Europa das ist positiv zu vermerken.
TURKEY TESTS ISRAELI-BASED MORTAR SYSTEMS
ANKARA [MENL] -- Turkey has completed trials of an Israeli-based 120 mm mortar.
The trials of the 120 mm automatic mortar were conducted by Turkey's military and were deemed successful. The mortar was based on a design by Israel's Soltam and manufactured by Deha Insaat ve Savunma Sanayii AS.
The Turkish Land Forces Command plans to install the 120 mm mortars on armored personnel carriers as well as wheeled armored fighting vehicles. The trials were conducted on the U.S.-origin M-113 APC produced by United Defense.
The command plans to hold additional trials over the next few months. They include tests of the 120 automatic meter on Turkey's indigenous APC, produced by FNSS.
Industry sources said the mortar will also be suitable for infantry units and will replaced the towed 120 mm rifled system. The sources said the military also conducted trials at the Land Forces Command infantry school near Istanbul.
The 750-kilogram Turkish mortar can be fitted on a rifle barrel and linked to a computer and command console. This allows increased powered elevation and traverse meant for improved accuracy and quicker targeting and fire.
Deha Insaat said the mortar system can be operated within two minutes. Moreover, the system's computer can hold 999 targets.
The sources said most of the components of the mortar system were supplied by Turkish defense contractors. The muzzle-loaded rifle barrel was produced by MKEK. The Turkish company has also manufactured 120 mm ammunition.

Woher kommt(wo gebaut?)dieses Geschütz?:
habe es oft im TV gesehen,wo Türkische truppen sie in den bergen einsetzen,
um das Kaliber 105mm,
sieht der LightGun ehnlich
wird sie in der türkei gebaut?wir ist ihre Leistung.

welchen meinst du?? meinst du die , die komandos vom berg abfeuern oder die womit die berge beschossen werden?
Könnte sein das beides damit gemacht wird.
habe aber öfters gesehen das sie von bergen aus abgefeuert werden
die teile sehen aus wie granatwerfer die womit die berge beschossen werden das sind normale artelerie glaub ich
ANKARA [MENL] -- Turkey has examined a proposal for the coproduction of a U.S. military helicopter.
The proposal calls for the joint manufacture and assembly of the S-70 Black Hawk utility helicopter at the state-owned Turkish Aerospace Industries. The Black Hawk is manufactured and marketed by Sikorsky Aircraft.
Sikorsky has offered TAI to become a co-producer for the Black Hawk helicopter and the two companies would jointly market the airborne platform to third countries. Industry sources said the target appears to be Central Asian republics of the former Soviet Union, where Ankara has considerable diplomatic and military interests.
"We want to make Turkey a world center for production and distribution of the Black Hawk helicopters," Sikorsky's representative in Turkey, Stuart Brown, was quoted by the semi-official Anatolia news agency as saying.

Hi leute ich habe eine gute Nachricht ! ! !
Die Türkei nimmt das MILGEM-Projekt zur Beschaffung von 8 AWS-Korvetten wieder auf. Das Projekt sieht vor die Korvetten im eigenen Land zu Entwickeln und zu bauen, allerdings mit ausländischer Hilfe. An der Entwicklung eines eines Prototypen sind die technische Universität Istanbul, dass staatliche Forschungsinstitut TUBITAK und private türkische Schiffswerfen beteiligt.
Ich kann mir gut vorstellen das bei der Entwicklung der Korvette die Erfahrungen von Yonca-Onuk mit der Entwicklung und dem Bau des Stealth FAC "MRTP-33" von Bedeutung sein werden.

Steht noch nichts fest,wie du im Beitrag von Skywalker lesen kannst.
Ersteinmal soll ein Prototyp hergestellt werden.Und da hier wohl niemand beim türkischen Verteidigungsministerium arbeitet müssen wir uns wohl gedulten bis
wir näheres erfahren.
