Wie bewertet ihr die AKINCI (anbei, welch passender Name!)? Meiner rein persönlichen Einschätzung nach ist sie der aktuell modernste und leistungsfähigste Schlachtflieger.

Das kann man so sagen, die Akinci kann nicht nur alleine Luft-Boden Muntion tragen. Die Drohne kann auch mit Marschflugkörpern vom Typ SOM bewaffnet werden, auch modulare Abstandswaffen wie den FK Kuzgun, inteligente Bomben der HGK und KGK Serie gehören zur Bewaffnung der Akinici. Die Akinici kann auch noch EW Pods tragen. Eine weiternetwickelte Variante der Akinci Drohne wird mit einem von ASELSAN entwickelten AESA Radar ausgerüstet und kann mit Gökdogan BVR und Bozdogan WVR Luft - Luft Raketen bewaffnet werden.

Man könnte ganze Streitkräfte auf solchen leichten, kostengünstigen Massensystemen aufbauen und dann mit einer anderen Doktrin und Zielsetzung in der Kampfführung auch ernsthafte Gegner schlicht und einfach komplett ausmanövrieren und aus dem Felde schlagen.

Medium Range Hisar O RF Missile Passes Critical Tests

HİSAR O + Passes a Critical Stage
Medium altitude air defence missile system Hisar O+ with RF seeker passed a critical stage with fire tests.
President of Defence Industry Agency (SSB) Professor Haluk Görgün stated that ASELSAN and Roketsan’s joint product medium-range air defence missile system Hisar O+ passed a critical stage. The missile was tested against targets at near range, flying at low altitude at high speed and long-range high altitude high speed. Both targets simulating aggressor were intercepted. The Hisar O+ was vertically launched, providing 360-degree coverage at both tests.
The first target was intercepted with a hit-to-kill impact, while the second target at a long distance was intercepted with an RF proximity fuse indigenously developed. The use of proximity fuse opens new capabilities for air defence systems.


SSB President Görgün said, “HİSAR O+, successfully intercepted targets at near and far ranges with its new RF Seeker Missile. With the HİSAR O+ System, which has gained a layered air and missile defence capability within its own structure, we are taking the tactical capability and firepower of our security forces to the highest level, pushing our limits, and launching our highly effective air defence products one by one. I want to thank ROKETSAN, ASELSAN, and all our subcontractors who contributed.”

HİSAR-O+ Air Defence Missile System was developed as an SSB project locally and nationally in cooperation with Aselsan-Roketsan. TÜBİTAK SAGE developed the warhead.
Hisar O+ is capable of operating in all weather conditions. It is effective against fixed and rotary-wing air platforms, air-to-ground missiles, cruise missiles and armed/unmanned aerial vehicles.

At the 16th International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 2023) in Istanbul, ASELSAN, a defense company affiliated with the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation (TSKGV), held a launch ceremony for four new air defense products. The ceremony was attended by Turkish Defense Industry President Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün, ASELSAN General Manager Ahmet Akyol, TÜBİTAK SAGE President Gürcan Okumuş, and ASELSAN board members.


The first of the products unveiled by the company was the GÜRZ Hybrid Air Defense System. The company’s first product was the GÜRZ Hybrid Air Defense System. GÜRZ, according to Aselsan, is an innovative air and missile defense system with multiple interceptors against very low and low altitude air threats. This new Air and Missile Defense System will protect both fixed facilities and in-transit convoys from threats such as UAVs, helicopters, and airborne munitions. Mounted on an 8×8 armored wheeled platform, GÜRZ consists of components such as a 35-millimeter air defense gun, 8 low altitude air defense missiles, 4 active electronically scanned array (AESA) search radars, a fire control radar, electro-optical sensors, and data link.

The 'Siper' project, initiated by the Presidency of Defense Industries to meet the need for a long-range regional air and missile defense system, has come to an end.

In the statement made on ASELSAN's social media account, it was stated that 'Siper Product-1' will be made available to the Air Forces Command in 2024.

Defense Industry President Haluk Görgün pointed out that they see air defense as a matter of survival and said: "The Siper system, which currently has the most advanced technology, will undertake important tasks for our national security. Turkish air missiles: GÖKDOĞAN and BOZDOĞAN and the new generation missile family KUZGUN for UAV & USV (Unmanned Surface Vehicle) platforms are preparing to enter the TAF inventory.

Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır made important statements during the 2024 budget negotiations of the Ministry of Industry and Technology at the TBMM Plan and Budget Commission. Minister Kacır talked about the work in the defense industry. In his speech, Minister Kacır said: “GÖKDOĞAN BOZDOĞAN, the domestic air-to-air missiles we have developed, and KUZGUN, a new generation missile family that can be launched by UAV & USV platforms, will enter the TAF (Turkish Armed Forces) inventory in 2024.”

According to the information provided at the Defence Ministry’s Weekly press briefing, new domestic products are delivered to the Turkish Armed Forces. (TAF)
Turkish Armed Forces received Koluman’s 13 DROPS logistic support vehicles, Roketsan’s 25 L-UMTAS-Tandem missiles, Four AVCI-2 imaging systems and six Bayraktar TB2 Armed UAVs.


In addition, the inspection and acceptance activities for 50 vehicles regarding installing domestic and nationally produced TUNA engines into the ‘Kirpi’ and ‘Vuran’ armoured vehicles started on December 4.

Die Landstreitkräfte werden ihre Hisar-A + & O + Baterrien zwischen 2025 und 2028 erhalten. Die Luftwaffe dagegen zwischen 2026 und 2027. Ab Mitte nächsten Jahres wird das Langstrecken FlaRak System Siper Product-1 eingeführt.

It was announced on Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) that a deal was signed between the Turkish Defence Industry Agency (SSB) and ASELSAN.
The deal is worth € 428.5 million and 4.8 billion TL. The size of the contract is significant and hints at a large acquisition of air defence systems for the Turkish Armed Forces.

ASELSAN is among the main contractors of the HİSAR and SİPER air defence systems, responsible for seekers of missiles, radars, command-control units, and communication systems. Examples of ASELSAN’s products within the scope of the two projects include.

Deal Signed for SİPER Product 1’s Serial Production
Turkish Defence Industry Agency (SSB) signed the deal with ASELSAN, ROKETSAN, for the serial production of HİSAR and SİPER Product 1 air defence systems.
The deal includes:

Serial production of the HİSAR A+ low-altitude air defence system.
HİSAR O+ medium-altitude air defence system.
SİPER Product 1 long-range air defence system.


Serial production of SİPER Product 1 marks a milestone toward placing the last fundamental layer of Turkiye’s air defence structure. In time, SİPER will be improved to have longer-ranged missiles like SİPER Product 2 and anti-ballistic capabilities.

Aside from ground use, SİPER and HİSAR missiles will be fitted on new warships such as İstif-class frigates. İstif-class frigates, through ROKETSAN’s MİDLAS VLS, will be capable of using HİSAR-D, which is a modified HİSAR-RF missile compiled for use with warship CMSs and a SİPER Product 1 missile variant.

The Turkish defense industry achieved a significant milestone as the unmanned land vehicle "Barkan" officially entered the inventory of the country's security forces.

Developed by Havelsan, this cutting-edge unmanned ground vehicle is set to be showcased at the upcoming 16th International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 2023), scheduled to take place in Istanbul from July 25 to 28.

The exhibition will provide an opportunity for Havelsan to present the latest advancements in unmanned vehicle solutions under the theme of "digital unity."

Havelsan, renowned for its expertise in training platforms and software solutions for security forces, marks a new era with the inclusion of Barkan as an operational platform in its inventory. Comprising Barkan I and Barkan II, the unmanned vehicles are now available for deployment.
