Turkey Officially Opposes Ocalan Center in Bagdat

Turkey has delivered a diplomatic note to Iraq demanding the closure of a contact office for the outlawed Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) which was recently opened in Bagdat (Baghdad).

Diplomatic sources stated that Turkish Foreign Ministry officials have issued a request to the Iraqi administration demanding the closure in due course of the PKK office named the "Ocalan Culture Center".

The diplomatic note was delivered to the Iraqi authorities via the Turkish Embassy in Baghdad, the same diplomatic sources added.
