Der offene Krieg zwischen der Hamas und den Israelis scheint weitgehend zur Ruhe gekommen zu sein, aber innerhalb Gazas ist die Lage immer noch extrem vakant:
So sonderlich nach "Befriedung" hört sich das nicht an. Und es stellt sich auch die Frage, wie sich die Hamas verhalten wird, wenn wirklich einmal Friedenstruppen vor Ort sein sollten? Sollte laut Trumps Plan nicht die Hamas entwaffnet und "deradikalisiert" und von der Verwaltung des Streifens ausgenommen werden bzw. sollten die, die gehen wollen, nicht abziehen dürfen? Bislang sieht man davon nichts.
Und Zweifel an dem, was die Friedenstruppen bewirken sollen (dürfen), kommen jetzt schon auf:
Schon interessant zu lesen - vor einigen Wochen hieß es landauf und landab, dass die Israelis (fast) die Herren des Streifens seien und ja deswegen für alle möglichen Unbilden inkl. einer "bewusst herbeigeführten Hungersnot" verantwortlich seien. Und nun liest man quasi "nebenher", dass die Hamas immer noch tausende Kämpfer mobilisieren kann, dass sie die Straßen mit ihrem Islamistenmob beherrscht und öffentliche Exekutionen durchführt. Das lässt doch arge Zweifel aufkommen an der Darstellung, wonach arme, wehrlose Palästinenser genozidal niedergewalzt wurden von einem übermächtigen "Goliath". Eher könnte man sogar sagen, dass der "Job" wohl noch nicht ganz erledigt ist.
Aber jetzt kommt ja eine Friedenstruppe, da wird alles sicher besser.

They want to intimidate people and families so they don’t revolt against them.
