Man darf aber auch nicht vergessen, dass es bereits zu erheblichen Gewalttätigkeiten kam - so Ende September, als eine ICE-Einrichtung in Dallas von einem Schützen angegriffen wurde. Dabei traf dieser (welch bittere Ironie) ausgerechnet zwei zuvor festgenommene Personen, darunter einen Familienvater, die beide starben. Der Täter tötete sich selbst.

Investigators believe the gunman – who died from a self-inflicted gunshot at the scene – harbored “hatred for the federal government” and intended to target ICE personnel and property – even though all three victims were detainees, officials said.

Allerdings wird vermutlich niemand deswegen die Nationalgarde nach Dallas schicken - ist ja in Texas und damit "befreundetes Gebiet".
