TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran and Armenia plan to further increase mutual cooperation in security, counter-terrorism and anti-narcotics fields, a senior Iranian interior ministry official announced.
Speaking before his departure for Armenian capital city of Yerevan on Saturday, Iranian Deputy Interior Minister for Security and Law Enforcement Affairs Ali Abdollahi said that the two neighboring countries intend to increase their security cooperation.
Abdollahi further expressed Iran's readiness to transfer its experience to neighboring countries such as Armenia in the fields of training police forces and fighting drugs, terrorism and organized crimes.
