Unconfirmed reports by Indian media allege Russian modified AKULA class submarine NERPA has been handed over to India on a ten-year lease and has departed a Russian Pacific Fleet base for India. Russian sources (incl. Amur Shipyard) say NERPA still on sea trials … with a mixed Russian-Indian crew. Transfer scheduled this fall.
(rmks: maybe these “sea trials” will end at an Indian naval base)

könnte das mit der vorigen Meldung von de "Indienststellung im Oktober" übereinstimmen? Überführung nach Indien (da wären die spätestens im September) und dort nochmalsSeeerprobung, bevor die Navy das Schiff offiziell übernimmt und in Dienst stellt?
