The Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) will begin upgrading the Indian Air Force's (IAF) air superiority Russian fighter MiG-29s from 2008.
The HAL Managing Director (MiG) KP Puri, from the Nasik-based MiG complex, told TOI on Saturday that the IAF had about 70 MiG-29 fighter aircraft in its squadrons and they would come up for an upgradation programme with the Defence PSU major in a couple of years from now......
