Tut er doch auch nicht. Type 54 etc. ist allerdings wirklich, naja, nicht unbedingt erstklassig.

Nein. China hat keine Type 54.
Type 98/99 - newest MBT (500~700 as of 2007) (Bei dem Preis von 2 millionen euro ist es verdamt guter Tank.)
Type 85/96 - (2,000 to ~5,000(2010))
Type 80/88 - (400 to 500, production stopped in 1995)
Type 69/79 - redesigned Type 59 (mostly retired) Today only a couple hundred Type 69/Type 79s remain in PLA inventory, mostly deployed with training or reserve units. The Type 69/Type 79 are being replaced by the newer Type 96 and Type 99 MBTs
Type 59D and Type 59D1 - upgraded versions of Type 59-IIA, Type 59-II, Type 59-I and Type 59 (copy of the Russian T-54)
Dabei arbeitet China gleichzeitig an 3 unterschiedlichen Modelen des MBT.
