MANILA, Sept. 7 (Xinhua) -- The Philippine Navy said Monday it has found an oil leak coming from the ill-fated Super Ferry 9 that tilted and subsequently sank off the waters of Siocon town, Zamboanga del Norte on Sunday, killing nine of nearly a thousand aboard.
Navy spokesman Lt. Col. Edgard Arevalo said the oil leak was noticed early morning by personnel aboard a patrol gunboat, which is among the several Navy ships deployed in the area for search and rescue operations.
