Indien ist kein Signatarstaat des NPT,des Nonproliferationb Treaty. Daher ist Zusammenarbeit in Bereich ziviler Nukleartechnologie nicht erlaubt. Die Lieferung von Nukleartechnikkomponenten an Indien ist damit an sich illegal.

Wo soll das im NPT stehen?
Ich finde im Gegensatz dazu folgenden Artikel:

Article IV

1. Nothing in this Treaty shall be interpreted as affecting the inalienable right of all the Parties to the Treaty to develop research, production and use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes without discrimination and in conformity with articles I and II of this Treaty.

2. All the Parties to the Treaty undertake to facilitate, and have the right to participate in, the fullest possible exchange of equipment, materials and scientific and technological information for the peaceful uses of nuclear energy. Parties to the Treaty in a position to do so shall also cooperate in contributing alone or together with other States or international organizations to the further development of the applications of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, especially in the territories of non-nuclear-weapon States Party to the Treaty, with due consideration for the needs of the developing areas of the world.

Da steht lediglich, dass die Kooperation innerhalb der Vertratgsmitglieder zum friedlichen Zweck der atomaren Nutzung besonders von Bedeutung ist, nicht aber, dass sie auf diesen Kreis begrenzt wäre.

Und bevor du Art. 3, Abs. 2 nennst: Indien ist hiervon nicht betroffen, da es bereits Atomwaffenbesitzer ist.

Das Abkommen ist KEIN Bruch des NPT und nirgendwo (außer auf einschlägigen Seiten natürlich) wird es als solches im rechtlichen Sinne dargestellt. Vielmehr wird Indien dadurch in NPT-Mechanismen eingebunden, ohne dem Abkommen formal beizutreten (bisher), zb. durch die IAEO-Überwachung.
Die Stellung der USA im Bezug auf Iran mag dadurch im moralischen Sinne geschwächt werden, im rechtlichen ist sie es aber nicht (jedenfalls nicht weiter als ohnehin).
