Iranian coast guards detain Iraqi officer, translator, five NCO''s

BAGHDAD, Sept 9 (KUNA) -- A joint Iraqi patrol consisting of an officer, a translator and five non-commissioned officers (NCOs) were detained by the Iranian coast guards while they were stationed at the Khanqeen border terminal near Haila police station, an Iraqi Defense Ministry statement confirmed Saturday.
