S.Korea, Turkey agree on closer military cooperation



South Korea and Turkey agreed on Tuesday to have closer cooperation in the military industrial sector, South Korean Defense Ministry said.

At a meeting between South Korean Defense Minister Yoon Kwang- ung and his Turkish counterpart Vecdi Gonul, the two sides agreed to expand their cooperation in areas of common interest and to jointly produce the K-9 self-propelled artillery, the ministry said.
