Die Dauer der Wehrpflicht wird von 18 auf 15 Monate verkürzt. Damit soll gleichzeitig die Gesamttruppenstärke um etwa 17% (ca. 85.000 bis 92.000 Soldaten) sinken.

Turkish Security Forces Kill Five Terrorists In Sirnak


SIRNAK - Turkish security forces killed five terrorists in an operation staged in southeastern city of Sirnak, Governor's Office said on Saturday. The Governor's Office stated that the security forces staged an operation against the terrorist organization PKK in the triangle among eastern city of Van, and southeastern cities of Hakkari and Sirnak.
