"North Korea is developing the Taepo Dong 2 (ICBM), which could deliver a several-hundred kilogram pay-load to Alaska or Hawaii, and a lighter payload to the western half of the United States."

Diese Angabe kann so nicht stimmen. Die Tapo Dong 2 hat eine Reichweite von max. 4000-4500km. Das ist etwa die hälfte der Strecke bis zur US-Westküste.

Und sogar zur Taepo Dong 1 steht hier noch:
"Potentially, a three-stage Taepo Dong 1 SLV could deliver a light payload to the United States, although with very poor accuracy."

Auch das kann so nicht stimmen. Die Taepo Dong 1 hat vermutlich eine Reichweite von ca. 2000km.

Die genannte Quelle gibt auch in etwa diese Reichweiten an, zieht in meinen Augen aber etwas abenteuerliche Schlüsse für das potentielle Bedrohungsszenario.

Natürlich weiss man nicht, ob die Koreaner nicht vermutlich noch einen Trumpf im Ärmel haben. Daran arbeiten werden sie mit Sicherheit. ber mit den Taepo-Dong 1-2 geht das nicht.
