Ich gehe davon aus, dass er sich zur Wahl stellen wird. Da viele Iraner, den Wunsch nach mehr demokratischen Elementen zurückgestellt haben, bzw in der Bevölkerung das Thema Arbeitslosigkeit und Inflation und besseere Beziehungen zum Westen oben anstehen, wird Rafsanjani auch mit großer Mehrheit gewinnen. Davon gehe ich aus. Gilt er doch als Realpolitiker und Wirtschaftsexperte, der mehrfach bewiesen hat sich mit dem Westen arrangieren zu wollen.
Unabhängig davo wird die Umstrukturierung der iranischen Wirtschaft laaangsam aber sicher weiter fortgesetzt :
