TuAF has plans to counter Greek SAMs and air defense systems...First step, All Turkish fighters will have full EW suites, including Missile Warning Systems...Currently, there are two seperate bids, one for procurement of 354 MWS and one for ALE-40 Chaff/Flare dispanser upgrade that will introduce digital Chaff/Flare controlers which will integrate MWS and ALE-40 to main control units in the EW suite...Second, as long as SAM systems use RADARs, there will be Jammers to spoil them. TuAF initiated a Stand-Off jammer project in 2000 and first 2 prototype system developed by a Turkish company integrated with CN-235..CN-235 have 2 ECM pods under wings and big black ESM/ELINT antennas on front and back...These Stand-off jammers will cruise along side Turkish coast line to jamm any specific Greek SAMs or Long range radars that track Turkish air space...Third, TuAF also initiated to develop a special Escort Jammer platform like E-6 Prowlers...One of the F-4E squadrons will be converted to Escort Jammers if needed. For this purposes, two separete jamming pods will be carried by F-4Es, will be part of strike packages...These jamming pods will be similar or same as carried by CN-235s...Fourth, TuAF already established four special Harpy squadrons along Turkish coastline in Aegean. These HARPY squadrons are part of TuAF mission planning system that will suport SEAD missions and will target SAM/Long Range radars in Greek Aegean Islands...54 more HAROP UCAVs are ordered this year by TUAF (datalinked version of HARPY, send images to ground stations) to support current HARPY inventory...Fifth measure TuAF is currently taking is to upgrade SEAD squadrons with new HARM missiles and introduction of new improved HTS pods...Sixth aspect of TuAF plan is to introduce DEAD capability for SEAD squadrons...Long Ranged, stand-off missiles like SLAM-ER, SPICE,JSOW, DELILAH-II are part of the current CCIP F-16 modernization and Terminator-2 modernization plans....

All of the Turkish F-16s and F-4E/2020 Terminators have EW suites that are integrated and running except 76 Block-50s...

Under Peace Onyx-I project, Turkey acquired 160 F-16 Block-30/40(43 Block-30, 117 Block-40) between 1987 and 1996. 160 ALQ-178V3 EW suite has been selected and produced under lisence by Turkish company MIKES in Turkey...This system is operational and all surviving F-16 block-30/40 are protected...Most importarntly, ALQ-178V3 system upgrade and updates are done locally by MIKES/HAVELSAN since introduction into service...Konya Main Jet base has EW systems test center, part of Anatolian Eagle Exercise, ALQ-178V3 systems and ECM techniques are constantly test by using real SAM threats or by radar simulators that can simulate certain radars...

Under Peace Onyx-II project 80 F-16 Block-50s are produced and delivered by TAI between 1996 and 1999. SPEWS-II project launched in 1997 to install EW suite into Block-50s but the project is delayed for several reasons; one reason, US instance on installing US made system, another reason Turkey's insistance on full tech-transfer conditions, US companies can not release because of US expoct law forbids them...It was not the money issue(cost of the project was only 190 millioon dollars alltogether) but eventually the contract has been signed and went effective in 2003...Turkish block-50s will receive their EW suites during their CCIP+ avionics and radar upgrades...

Das die türkische Firma Mikes diesen Algorythmus entwickelt hat der die Frequenzen von S-300 stören kann habe ich auch im WAFF gelesen.

Ich habe genauer recheriert, ich glaube beim Sabra habe ich mich geeirt was den Tech-Transfer mit der Panzerung angeht.

M60 A1 RISE/Passive - 274 - 170 will receive SABRA III upgrade program which is to be completed by 2007. The upgrade program encompasses thermal imaging and Elbit Knight-III fire control system (including stabilizer and ballistic computer), 120mm Merkawa-IV smoothbore cannon (with LAHAT guided ammunition) and fume extractor, automatic fire and explosion suppression system, Merkawa-IV add-on armor technology and explosive reactive armor (ERA), 1200 hp MTU diesel engine/transmission, full system modernization and integration capability, new improved Merkawa-IV tracks, RWR/IR warning system and NBC protection. The remaining M60A1 and M60A3 tanks are likely to undergo the same upgrade process with more involvement of Turkish companies, upon completion of the upgrade of first 170 tanks.
