China vs. Taiwan
chian will neue amphibische landungsschiffe bauen. von <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/china/lst-x.htm">http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/ ... /lst-x.htm</a><!-- m -->
Zitat:By the beginning of 2002, China had over 50 amphibious landing ships and can transport a brigade of marines at one time, but cannot carry enough supplies. By 2007, China's Navy may have its first new tank-landing ship with a 5,000 to 6,000 ton displacement, capable of carrying 15 tanks and 200 fully armed marines. In this way, China's Navy will have acquired improved capabilities at transporting tanks and soldiers.
wist ihr was genaures zu den schiffe?
im vergleich dazu die bisher modernsten chinesischen landungsschiffe der yuting-klasse. von <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/world/china/yuting.htm">http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/ ... yuting.htm</a><!-- m -->
Zitat:[...] new large helicopter deck for operating 2 medium helicopters to augment amphibious lift capabilities. It has the capacity to hold 250 troops, 10 tanks, and 4 LCVPs, and is armed with 6 37mm/63 guns firing 180rds/min to a range of 8.5 km. [...] During 2003 three new medium class-landing ships were completed at Shanghai. Hull numbers 3315, 3316 and 3232 are triple-bow formatted landing ships with an estimated capability of beaching a load of over 250 tons each.
unter <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.sinodefence.com/navy/amphibious/default.asp">http://www.sinodefence.com/navy/amphibious/default.asp</a><!-- m --> steht zu chinas transportmöglichkeiten folgendes
Zitat:In addition to the conventional amphibious ships and crafts in service with the PLA, China also operates a large number of merchant fleet, with some ships specially designed to be quickly converted for military purposes in time of crisis. Once a port on enemy land is secured, hundreds of cargo ships, vehicle ferries, and thousands of motorised fish boats will be used in an administrative life of support personnel and heavy equipment.

It is estimated that the large and medium amphibious ships in service with the PLA could lift a whole heavy armour division, or 1.5 to 2 light infantry divisions and their some equipment in the first wave of a regional amphibious assault. However, if take the sealift capabilities of smaller landing crafts and merchant ships into account, the aggregate lift of China’s amphibious forces could reach as many as five divisions (60,000 troops and their equipment).
