Rein moralisch her gesehen, muss m,an an sich, wen man will das sich die leute und die staaten und organisationen im allgemeinen an regerln halten, jene auch selbst beachten, denn jede zu sehr konstruierte Ausnahme birgt das risiko der relativierung bestehender rechtsnormen bzw. wertenormen und regeln in sich.

Daher ist so ne aktion mehr oder minder politisch heikel, wie ich finde...

klar es sind terroristen, aber sicher nicht alle die in guantamo bays sitzen sind solche schergewichte in punkto terrorismus. Von daher denke ich das kritik an der us linie in dem punkt schon gerechtfertigt ist.

Und nicht jeder in Gitmo hat n schweres Leben da - Jugendlichen da zum beispiel gehts da deutlich besser als in der Heimat....

Immerhin geht es ja auch um den propagandistischen wertevorsprung und der ist nicht egrade gegeben, wen die sua selbst immer wieder die dopplemoral zur wichtigsten westlichen eigenart erhebt.

Der Zweck heiligt die mittel ... auf Moral pfeif ich

Hamza's case in Britain will halt US extradition

Abu Hamza, the Muslim cleric wanted by the Americans for alleged terrorist offences, is to face a prosecution in the British courts that will sideline the United States extradition.
It is understood that the case against Hamza will be brought substantially under criminal, rather than terrorist legislation.

FBI raids Connecticut mosque leader's home in terror probe

WOLCOTT, Conn. -- FBI agents raided the home of a Waterbury Islamic leader as part of an investigation into a Sudanese charity that federal officials recently accused of supporting Osama bin Laden and other terrorists.

Majeed Sharif, president of United Muslim Mosque, would not discuss what investigators took from his Wolcott home on Wednesday. But he told The Associated Press that he did volunteer work for the Islamic African Relief Agency, a charity the Bush administration said Wednesday was financing terrorism.

Activist in alleged assassination plot gets 23 years in jail

ALEXANDRIA, Va. - A prominent Muslim activist who admitted participating in a Libyan plot to assassinate Saudi Arabia’s crown prince was sentenced Friday to the maximum 23 years in prison for illegal business dealings with Libya.
Abdurahman Alamoudi, 52, pleaded guilty in July to accepting hundreds of thousands of dollars from high-ranking Libyan officials while serving as a go-between for them and Saudi dissidents.

Alamoudi, of Falls Church, Va., was a naturalized U.S. citizen from Eritrea who helped found the American Muslim Council and related American Muslim Foundation. His position within the Muslim community garnered him an invitation to the White House during the Clinton administration.
