Zalina, spent 2 days as a hostage and survived the storm. She tells her story to a reporter from gazeta.ru, apologies if the translation is a bit awkward (I am still at work and doing this as fast as I can).

"9:10am I walked my son (5th grader)to school. Two minutes after we walked into the court yard came the terrorists. There were about 20 of them and also 2 females. They herded us inside the school through the corridor and windows. Right away they killed 12-20 men - one at a time. Then a tank arrived and killed one of the terrorists, so they put several hostages next to a window and shot them dead. They threatened to kill 10 hostages for their dead, but I only saw about 4.

Female Terrorist Captured in Beslan

One female terrorist disguised as a nurse was seized after she tried to enter Beslan's hospital.
Russian online edition Gazeta.ru reported that following the raid of Russian forces, militants split into three groups.

Beslan. Native population of Beslan in North Ossetia have tried to lynch one of the terrorists captured in the attack of Russian Special Forces, announced News Ru. A reporter of Sky News announced that a crowd kicked and tore his body apart in front of the building. Russian militants are afraid to get the terrorists put of the building because people might lynch them.

In nem anderen Forum gelesen das die lokale Bevölkerung die fluechtenden Tschetschen mit Jagdgewehren verfolgt hat und die Terroristen in einem Haus von denen umzingelt worden sind und beschossen werden...

Last report I have says its now 19 out of twenty dead. Three more are holed up in the building basement with some hostages, seven are in another building being pounded by tanks and the rest are fleeing through the countryside pursued by local citizens with deer rifles.

**EDIT** its now been reported that the ones who tried to flee across country (now numbered at 13) are holed up in a house, surrounded by local civilians who are shooting the place apart, brick by brick.
