Baykar and ASELSAN Test FEWS-U EW System on KIZILELMA TurDef
Baykar’s KIZILELMA unmanned fighter flew with ASELSAN’s FEWS-U self-protection electronic warfare system, providing integrated ESM and ECM capabilities.
Baykar announced KIZILELMA’s flight test with a self-protection electronic warfare system, followed by ASELSAN disclosing the system as FEWS-U, which appears to be a development of FEWS adapted for unmanned combat aircraft.
The test footage shows FEWS-U identifying tracking radar and missile threats. In addition to detection and analysis capabilities, FEWS-U can neutralise the threats to an undisclosed degree.

MURAD 100-A AESA radar integrated on AKINCI UCAV of Baykar demonstrated its simultaneous tracking of air and surface targets in tandem with weather mode.
The radar performance test with AKINCI UCAV has demonstrated MURAD 100-A AESA radar’s multi-mode capabilities following the tests with simple air-to-air mode onboard the UCAV and KIZILELMA unmanned fighter.
It was seen that MURAD 100-A was tested in weather mode and a combined mode that superimposes weather mapping to the simultaneous tracking of both air and surface targets.
