ROKETSAN’s EREN turbojet-powered high-speed loitering munition launched from an AKINCI UCAV successfully hit a static target at sea using its IIR seeker.

EREN scored a direct hit on a small target at sea using its IIR seeker, following flight control validation tests that involved flying into a predefined coordinate.

This test can be taken as a validation of EREN’s IIR seeker, which is fitted with an automatic target recognition feature.



EREN was unveiled during IDEF2025 with two launcher configrations including pickup and containerised, which also incorporates AESA radars for airborne targets’ tracking. The loitering munition with a missile-like form and turbojet providing high speed can be launched from air, land, and naval platforms.
