Germany's F-127 class is unlikely to be delivered until the mid-2030s. If the F-127 were to continue in the competition, there must be political motives.

Constellation is the best frigate measured in combat power. In addition, this choice contributes by far the best to Norway's overall security. It ties the Navy's frigate weapons to NATO's largest naval power, the US Navy, and the frigates are delivered and supported throughout their service life by a Norwegian shipyard.
