Russian Navy`s Pacific Fleet will deploy four Project 955/955A (NATO reporting name: Borei-class or Dolgorukiy-class) ballistic missile submarines (SSBN) in the 2020s, according to a Russian defense industry source. The source pointed out, that K-550 'Alexander Nevsky' and K-551 'Vladimir Monomakh' submarines would be complemented by two upgraded Borei-class SSBNs (Project 955A).
