Ministerpresident Erdogan ist auf einem zweitägigen Staatsbesuch im Iran. Die iranischen Medien stellen es so dar als ginge es vordergründig um eine engere wirtschaftlicher Kooperation. Tatsächlich kommt er vor allem um den Iranern niedrigere Gaspreise abzuringen. Erdogans Verhandlungssituation ist stark, da die Türkei einer der wenigen Zugänge des Iran zu Banken und Zahlungsmitteln ist.
