Update: some data on planned new LPD/LHD … dubbed LEVENT … basic design following Spanish JUAN CARLOS I / Australian CANBERRA but will be smaller: 19,000 ts; 200m; 20 knots; operational range 7,000 nm; crew 240; carry 700 troops, 13 MBT or 27 armored amphibious attack vessels … air component to include four helicopters (15t) on the flight deck and another four in the hangar.
