Der Anteil der Ausländer auf Seiten der Rebellen wird auf ca 10% geschätzt. Die Zahl der Islamisten ist VIEL höher. Das machst du aber ständig. Egal ob es gerade um Ausländer in Syrien geht oder Islamisten ... du kommst immer mit diesen ~10%.

Wenn man allein schon die Zahlen aus dem Spiegelartikel von Heute nimmt dürfte die Zahl der Islamisten bei 40-50% liegen.

Diese Zahlen sind einfach nicht korrekt. Zur Erinnerung: Wir haben in Syrien geschätzt etwa 70.000 bis 100.000 Aufständische. Dies hieße ja dann, dass in Syrien etwa 35.000 bis 50.000 Dschihadisten kämpfen. Das ist absurd. Es stimmt zwar, dass der Einfluss der Islamisten wächst, aber nicht derart, wie hier spekuliert und behauptet wird. Die fundamentalistischen Kräfte, die gerne genannt werden und die u. a. i. d. T. von Saudi-Arabien gesponsert werden, haben (geschätzt, je nach Quelle) bis maximal 10.000 Mitglieder, dazu kämen vermutlich noch (maximal) rund 10.000 ausländische Söldner (iranische Angabe). D. h. selbst wenn man ohne Kritik NUR die Maximalzahlen stehen lässt, wären eben immer noch zwischen 80 und 90% der Aufständischen KEINE Islamisten oder Söldner.

* In Aleppo, the Jabhat force is reckoned at around 2,000, mostly in the Al-Bab area northeast of the city. This estimate is based partly on reports from a doctor in the area who has treated injured fighters. The total FSA presence in the Aleppo area is about 15,000.

* In Idlib province, west of Aleppo, Jabhat's ranks number 2,500 to 3,000, or about 10 percent of the total number of FSA fighters there.

* In Deir al-Zor, to the northeast, the extremist group has about 2,000 of the FSA's total force of 17,000, according to the reports. Among Jabhat al-Nusra's most spectacular operations were recent seizures of the Al-Ward oil field and a Conoco gas field, the reports said.

* In Damascus, the Jabhat al-Nusra force is somewhere between 750 and 1,000. Another 1,000 fighters are spread around the country in Latakia, in northwest Syria, Homs in the center and Daraa in the south.
