B. auch an eingesickerte sunnitische Kämpfer/Islamisten aus Pakistan auf der einen und Hisbollah-Leute/Iraner auf der anderen Seite), sondern auch, weil die Ursachen und - vor allem - die Intensität [eine] völlig andere ist/sind. So starben alleine in den letzten 24 Stunden 150 Menschen in Syrien (mindestens), bzw. es starben rund 25.000 in den letzten 18 Monaten.

'Failure for Brahimi'
The four-day ceasefire had been negotiated by UN envoy Lakhdar Brahimi, who hoped it would lay the groundwork for a full peace process. But both rebels and the army said they would observe the truce only if the other side held their fire. A commander of the rebel Free Syrian Army (FSA) in Aleppo, which holds parts of the city, said the truce was a failure for Mr Brahimi, and had been "dead before it started".
