"The six contracts are valued at approximately USD 3 billion (2.43 million euros),” the Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) announced in a Wednesday statement.
Under the agreements, France's Areva, London-headquartered Rio Tinto, the US company ConverDyn, Uranium One Inc. of Canada, Britain's URENCO and Russia's TENEX will provide raw material and enrichment services to UAE’s four planned reactors at Barakah nuclear facilities in western region of Abu Dhabi, AFP reported.
