Russia’s FEMCO Shipping has denied claims that its cargo ship ALAED was illegally transporting weapons and military helicopters to Syria.
(rmks: with no UN-declared, internationally binding embargo in place and a correct load manifest, arms transports to Syria may be deplorable but are absolutely legal for the Russian company).

19.06.2012 · Die britischen Behörden haben ein russisches Schiff vor Schottland gestoppt, das offenbar in Russland reparierte Kampfhubschrauber nach Syrien transportieren sollte. Das bestätigte das britische Außenministerium in London.
