Commander: Bahraini People Likely to Start Armed Resistance

TEHRAN (FNA)- A senior Iranian Armed Forces commander predicted that the Bahraini people will gradually start armed resistance against the country's Saudi-backed dictators due to the intensified clampdown on protesters by the Al Khalifa regime.

"After the intensification of the Al Khalifa regime's pressures on the Muslim and oppressed people of Bahrain and the serious decision of the county's youths for starting a sacred defense, it is predicted that the Islamic revolution of the Bahraini people will gradually enter a phase of sporadic military, guerilla and irregular operations," Head of the Foundation for the Remembrance and Promotion of the Holy Defense's Values Brigadier General Mirfeisal (Seyed Mohammad) Baqerzadeh told FNA.
