BEIJING, Jan. 20 (Xinhua) -- China's centrally-administered state-owned enterprises (SOEs) reported net profits of 917.33 billion yuan (141.3 billion U.S. dollars) in 2011, up 6.4 percent year-on-year, the country's SOEs regulator said Friday.

es ist nicht nur so, dass sich China auch die "Beteiligung an profitablen Staatsfirmen" gönnt (das Militär hat auch selbst eigene Unternehmen für militärische Güter). Manchmal hat man den Eindruck, dass Chinas Regierung des gesamten Staat wie einen riesigen Konzern lenkt.
