Warplane crash in S Iran kills 1

An Iranian Army aircraft has crashed around the southern city of Sarvestan in Iran's Fars Province, killing the pilot and injuring the co-pilot, local officials say.
The plane crashed near Khavaran village on Sunday, while on a training mission, an informed provincial official told IRNA.

Reports say the plane, which belonged to the Islamic Republic of Iran's Army, was probably a Sukhoi training aircraft.
