2010 Islamic Art Expo in Germany Displays Iranian Artworks

TEHRAN (FNA)- An exhibition of Islamic arts kicked off work in Munich, Germany, with a number of Iranian artists presenting their artworks.

Iran, Land of Prayers was opened as part of the 2010 Islamic Art Expo at Munich's Villa Stuck Museum which will run until February 15, 2011.

Iran, Russia Discuss Consolidation of Cultural Cooperation

TEHRAN (FNA)- Russian Minister of Culture Alexander Avdeev in a meeting with Iranian cultural officials discussed ways to further develop cooperation between the two countries in the field of culture.

Dutch Envoy Calls for Increased Art Cooperation with Iran

TEHRAN (FNA)- The Netherland's Ambassador to Tehran, Cees J. Kole, asked for the further expansion and bolstering of cooperation between Tehran and Amsterdam in various areas of art, and appreciated the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art (TMCA) for its efforts in this regard.

"There are many museums in the Netherlands which are eager to cooperate with the TMCA," Kole said during a visit to an art exhibition in Tehran on Sunday.
