France shared Iran's grief after it "was again plunged into mourning by particularly odious terrorism which targeted a place of worship during the ceremony of Ashura," AFP quoted French Foreign Ministry spokesman Bernard Valero as saying on Wednesday.

"I was appalled to hear of today's horrific bomb attack in Iran against pilgrims marking Ashura in the city of Chabahar," British Foreign Office Minister Alistair Burt said Wednesday.
"The UK strongly condemns this atrocity. We deplore terrorism in all its forms. Our thoughts are with all those injured and their families."
Jordanian King Abdullah II condemned the attack and "stressed Jordan's support for the brotherly Iranian people to overcome their terrible ordeal."
