Großayatollah Shirazi schaltet sich in die Debatte um den umstrittenen Haushaltsplan der Regierung ein. Er behauptet die offiziellen Angaben zur Inflation seien gefälscht. Mit diesen wird aber die Verträglichkeit der geplanten massiven Streichung von staatlichen Subventionen begründet:
