TEHRAN (FNA)- An Iranian diplomat announced that Tehran is ready to buy up to 10 billion cubic meters of natural gas from Azerbaijan annually.
"Iran is ready to purchase as much gas in Azerbaijan as the country is able to supply," Iran's Ambassador to Baku Mohammad Baqer Bahrami told reporters in Baku on Thursday.
"We are ready to buy up to 10 billion cubic meters of gas from Azerbaijan," Azeri Trend News quoted Bahrami as saying.

Samadzade added that the SOCAR will build the 200-kilometer (124-mile) Sangachal-Azadkend-Astara pipeline.
It will carry 18 million cubic meters of natural gas to Iran per day, the official said.
