Zitat:Regional terrorism inspired by Wahhabi seminaries: Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi
Tehran Times Political Desk
QOM -- Grand Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi has said that the inspiration for the terrorist acts committed in the region comes from seminaries that teach Wahhabism.
At these seminaries, they “openly teach their students that they are the only Muslims and others are polytheists and unbelievers, and their blood… is halal, and killing them is obligatory, and if anybody puts on an explosive belt and kills himself or herself and a group of them, one hour later he or she will find himself or herself in the embrace of the Prophet of Islam in paradise,” Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi said in Qom on Saturday.

Taking punitive action against terrorists is not enough; the root causes of terrorism must also be eradicated, he stated.
He suggested that the ulema of Islamic countries, particularly those from Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Egypt, Lebanon, Iran, and Saudi Arabia, band together and hold a conference to find ways to reform the religious seminaries that train terrorists.
He went on to say that the hegemonistic powers are certainly taking advantage of the current situation and will continue to fan the flames of tension in the future.
