Iran’s four-month crude steel output hits 3.7m tons

Iran's four-month cement output hits 16.8m tons

TEHRAN, Aug. 9 (MNA) – Iran has produced 16.8 million tons of cement in the four-month period beginning March 21, 2009, a Ministry of Industries and Mines report says.

IRNA news agency quoted the ministry''s public relations office as reporting that the production was 10 percent higher than the figure for the same period last year.

25% increase in Iran Aluminum output

TEHRAN, Aug. 8 (MNA) – The total aluminum production in the first four month of the Iranian calendar (ending July 22) reached 96,555 tons showing a 25 percent increase compared to the same period the year before.

This increase is 2 percent more than the figure foreseen for the period this year.

10% increase in Iran’s auto production

MASHHAD, Aug.5 (MNA) – The acting director of Saipa Automotive Manufacturing Group here on Wednesday said vehicle production in Iran this calendar year ( starting March 21) will increase by 10 percent.

He stated that the Saipa Group has designed four platforms for Pride, Miniature, Mazda and L90.

The Saipa Group and Iran Khodro Co., the two giant Iranian automakers, plan to produce 1.3 million vehicles this year.

Iran students ranked first at Britain Silverstone Circuit Class 3‎
