Heathrow crash probe underway

LONDON, England (CNN) -- An investigation began Friday into why a Boeing 777 landed short of the runway at London's Heathrow Airport, skidding on grass and ripping apart sections of the aircraft.

All aspects of the Thursday incident -- involving a British Airways aircraft -- will be scrutinized.
