The MKE TOLGA Close-In Air Defense System, developed indigenously by the MKE, has successfully completed its first live-fire test.

Developed to counter the growing threats of mini/micro UAVs, tactical drones, smart munitions, and cruise missiles on the modern battlefield, the MKE TOLGA Close-In Air Defense System (CIADS) carried out its first firing trials using fully domestic capabilities.

The event, held at the Ministry of National Defense’s Karapınar Firing, Test and Evaluation Center, was observed on-site by nearly 100 participants, including representatives from the Turkish Armed Forces and various security institutions.
