Hi,
Gibt es Informationen über die Irakische Adnan?
Ist es vergleichbar mit der Il76?

Adnan Iraqi Il-76 AEW

Baghdad 1 Iraqi Il-76MD airframe modified as an AEW platform through the addition of a Thomson-CSF Tigre surveillance radar mounted behind a blister radome in place of the aft clamshell doors, radar system crew included four operators and allowed monitoring a 180° sweep out to 190 nm (350 km); 1 converted but deemed unsuccessful due to unspecified problems
Adnan Iraqi Il-76 airframes modified as AEW aircraft by mounting a 29.5 ft (9 m) diameter rotating radome atop the fuselage; 3 converted but 1 was destroyed during the 1991 Gulf War and the other two fled to Iran where they still remain.

taugt sie was? Wie ist sie im vergleich mit den Amerikanische Awacs?

Wenn es um Irak geht,naja jetzt bestimmt nicht mehr.
Bin mir nicht sicher ob Iran sie besitzt.

Der iran soll 2 Adnan besitzen.
Diese wurden infolge von Desert Storm in den iran geflogen und vom iran übernommen.
Ob sie mit AWACS oder moderneren Flugzeugen mithalten können bezweifel ich aber ganz stark.

Ist es eine eigen Konstruktion von den Irakis oder ist es eine Russische?
Von der Name (Adnan) her würde ich eher auf die Türkei tippen.

Die Iraker hatten vorher schon die sogenannte "Baghdad 1" konstruiert,welche eine Kopie des französischen Tigreradars nutzte.

The Il-76 Adnan-1 AEW&C was an Iraqi development of an Il-76MD military transport aircraft based on the A-50 'Mainstay' with a Thompson-CSF (now Thales) Tiger-G radar which has a range of about 350km. Two were flown out to Iran during the Gulf war, one is in service with IRIAF today while the second aircraft is going through a upgrade programme.
